Bryce Thompson is one of the fastest rising prospects in the class of 2020, and the North Carolina Tar Heels are among the programs working hardest for a commitment from him.
Thompson was the No. 70 overall prospect in January according to the 247Sports Composite, but has moved up 50 spots to No. 20 in the site’s updated list that was released in early July. The quick rise to 5-star status has brought Thompson additional fanfare and media exposure, along with a growing list of scholarship offers from some of the most prestigious college basketball programs in the nation.
