The UNC basketball program got some good news on Tuesday night when 5-star class of 2020 prospect Cam’Ron Fletcher announced the five finalists in his recruitment.
The 6-foot-7, 195-pound small forward out of Vashon High School in Saint Louis, Missouri released his top-5 via his personal Twitter account, and the Tar Heels were among the teams still in the running. Joining them is Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan State and Missouri, and none of them were much of a surprise.
He eliminated a number of big-name programs such as Iowa State, Kansas State, Ohio State, Purdue, UCLA, Virginia Tech and Xavier.
