The North Carolina men’s basketball program already has the No. 3-ranked recruiting class in the nation, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings for 2020. It could get even better for the Tar Heels, though, if 5-star small forward Ziaire Williams commits to North Carolina.
Many fans assumed that North Carolina was out of the Williams sweepstakes, what with the Tar Heels’ star-studded recruiting class that claimed all available scholarships that the program has to offer for next season. The talented wing out of Chatsworth, California blew some serious holes in that discussion after the release of his five finalists on Monday night.
