Roy Williams and his staff are still working on putting together their 2019 basketball recruiting staff but that doesn’t mean the 2020 class isn’t starting to pick up.
The Tar Heels currently have one verbal commitment in the 2020 class with center Day’Ron Sharpe offering his verbal over the Summer. Sharpe likely won’t be the only commit Williams lands in this class as his recruiting board is full of big targets.
One of those targets is five-star small forward Ziaire Williams.
The California native is one of the top players in the country and at his position in the 2020 class and recently took a surprise visit to Chapel Hill.
