Any year that ends in a loss is going to leave some amount of a sour taste in our mouths. The way this season ended suddenly in the Sweet 16 against Auburn was no different. However, the reason the loss felt as sudden as it did was because of how good the team had been up to that point.
Despite the season ending earlier than expected, the 2018-19 North Carolina Tar Heels team accomplished a lot. They were ACC regular season co-champions and a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. They could not have done all that without picking up some big wins along the way.
