It’s been a great season of baseball down on Cape Cod, but like all good things, the 2017 season had to come to an end.
In the East, Chatham with four Tar Heels faced off against Orleans with four of their own. Brewster, housing two Tar Heels for the summer, took on Yarmouth-Dennis which was devoid of any Diamond Heels. For the West, Wareham, also devoid of any Tar Heels, faced off against Falmouth which had one Tar Heel. The final matchup had Bourne face off against Cotuit, neither team hosting a Tar Heel for the summer.
Cotuit and Falmouth went out quickly in the West, losing the first two in the best of three, while Yarmouth-Dennis and Chatham managed to take it to all three games before sending their players home for the rest of the summer.
