Thanks to a decisive win over Oklahoma in the do-or-die final game of the Chapel Hill Regional, the North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team advanced in the NCAA Tournament last Monday. They are now two victories away from a trip to Omaha for the College World Series, but there’s still one more tough hurdle to get past.
Starting this afternoon, UNC will host Arizona in the Chapel Hill Super Regional at Boshamer Stadium. The best-of-three series will decide one of the eight places at the College World Series.
Arizona advanced here by coming out of the Eugene Regional.
