This weekend, UNC will host its second Super Regional in as many years, after the Diamond Heels dusted off Oklahoma in the last game of the Chapel Hill Regional on Monday. Also for the second straight year, they won’t face the host of the regional that was across from them in the bracket. Last year, West Virginia breezed through the Tuscon Regional and came to Chapel Hill. This year gives us a bit of a full-circle moment, as the Arizona Wildcats come to Boshamer Stadium a year later than intended, riding an 8-game win streak that included absolutely mashing through the Eugene Regional.
