CHAPEL HILL - North Carolina women's tennis head coach Brian Kalbas has announced the addition of graduate transfer Abbey Forbes, who will join the Tar Heels for the 2022-23 season.
Forbes arrives from UCLA with a scintillating resume that includes two ITA All-America singles honors in 2020 and 2021 and a career singles record of 61-11, including a 44-5 mark in dual matches. She was the 2021 Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year and a member of the 2021 Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year with Jada Hart.
"It's an incredible opportunity for our coaching staff to have such a talent like Abbey join our program," said Kalbas.
