Coach Mike Fox and the North Carolina Tar Heels looked to continue their winning ways over the ACC on Thursday afternoon against the Boston College Eagles. The Tar Heels opened up ACC Tournament pool play against the Eagles in Louisville, and came out strong from the start in their 10-0 victory over Boston College.
The UNC offense came out hot in the first inning. Brian Miller and Logan Warmoth started the game off each with singles and quickly scored on an Ashton McGee triple. Carolina got an RBI groundout from Kyle Datres, and just like that the Tar Heels were up 3-0.
