CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The UNC women's tennis team (30-1), defeated the Charleston Southern Buccaneers (16-8) 4-0 on Friday evening in the inaugural round of NCAA action at the Chewning Tennis Center.
To begin the day, the doubles duo of Elizabeth Scotty and Carson Tanguilig collected a quick 6-0 win on court three to give the Tar Heels the doubles advantage. A few moments later, Reese Brantmeier and Reilly Tran won 6-2 to clinch the doubles point for North Carolina.
In singles action, Reilly Tran made quick work on court six.
