CHAPEL HILL—Scottie Rose Growney scored four goals and Taylor Moreno made 11 saves to lead top-ranked North Carolina to an 11-5 win over Florida on Friday afternoon at Dorrance Field.
Growney led the way, scoring four goals against Florida for the second consecutive season. Tayler Warehime and Ally Mastroianni each scored twice, while Jamie Ortega and Caitlyn Wurzburger both had a goal and an assist for UNC. Kerrigan Miller also scored for the Tar Heels.
Grace Haus led Florida (1-1) with three goals and an assist.
