Austin Greaser tied the University of North Carolina 18-hole score in NCAA regional play, Ryan Gerard shot 65 for the second consecutive day and the Tar Heels surged to within a stroke of the lead with a blistering 13-under-par 267, its lowest team score ever in regional action on day two of the NCAA Yale Regional Tuesday at the Yale Golf Course.
Carolina's 267 total is a season best and the second-lowest round ever by the Tar Heels. It is two shots off the school record of 265 set in 2021 in the ACC Championship second round.
