The North Carolina rowing team capped a week of Spring Break training on Saturday with a morning of racing in the Carolinas Cup against Duke and host Clemson. Action took place on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
The Tar Heels spent the Spring Break week in Lake Lure, N.C., where they raced George Mason on March 13, sweeping all four races. After training on Lake Lure all week, UNC traveled to Clemson to face off against two of its Atlantic Coast Conference rivals.
Carolina finished third in all five races.
Next up for the Tar Heels is their only local competition of the season, on Friday in Raleigh.
