Tar Heels Open ACC Play At Yellow Jackets
• Carolina is 12-2 and begins ACC play on Saturday, 12/31, at Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are 8-4 and also are playing their first conference game.
• The Tar Heels then travel to Clemson on 1/3/17 before returning to the Smith Center for the ACC home opener against NC State on 1/7.
• The ACC will announce the gametime for the NC State game on 1/1 (depends on the NFL Playoff schedule).
• This is the 16th time UNC has played a game on December 31st.
