The University of North Carolina has climbed two spots to fifth place nationally in the current Learfield Directors' Cup standings, which include the final winter sports results.
The Directors' Cup is a multi-sport competition that awards points based on NCAA postseason success. Each school may accumulate points towards the Cup standings in 19 sports – four of which must be baseball, men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball.
The UNC gymnastics team added 45.5 points to the program's total by tying for 25th place in NCAA competition.
The Tar Heels have amassed 702 points, including 295.
