Tar Heel Poll Notes
• Ranked No. 3 last week, North Carolina dropped three spots in both national polls this week (released on Dec. 14). The Tar Heels fell to No. 11 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Poll after their buzzer-beater loss at Texas on Dec. 12.
• UNC had been in the top 10 of both polls for the first five weeks of the 2015-16 season.
• The Tar Heels began the 2015-16 season atop both polls, holding the AP's top spot outright and sharing the No. 1 ranking in the coaches poll with Kentucky.
