WINSTON-SALEM—Eighth-ranked North Carolina (20-5, 10-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) scored the first 18 points of the game and cruised to a 95-57 win at Wake Forest (9-15, 2-10) on Saturday afternoon at the Lawrence Joel Memorial Coliseum.
Cameron Johnson led all scorers with 27 points on 10 of 13 shooting, including 7 of 10 three-pointers to tie his career high for threes. Luke Maye and Coby White scored 10 apiece
Carolina started the game on a 18-0 run and never looked back, hitting 13 of its first 17 shots while Wake missed 21 of its first 25.
