CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – The North Carolina women's rowing team finished its first official race of the season at the Rivanna Romp on Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heels fielded three boats in the Varsity 8+ race and four in the Varsity 4+ race. It was the first event with Head Coach at the helm.
The 1V8+ boat finished 17th at 14:45.5, while the 3V8+ crossed the finish line 20th at 15:00.6. The 2V8+ rounded out the order with a 21st place finish at 15:02.0.
North Carolina's 1V4+ led the way with a 16th place finish at 16:15.
