MADISON, WISC.—The University of North Carolina men's tennis team beat South Carolina for the second time in two weeks, downing the Gamecocks, 4-2, on Friday evening to reach the quarterfinals of the ITA Indoor National Championships, hosted by the University of Wisconsin.
Two weekends ago, on Feb. 2 in Chapel Hill, Carolina shut out the Gamecocks, 4-0.
Benjamin Sigouin won the deciding match at No. 2 singles on this night, beating Raphael Lambling 7-6 (4), 6-3 to clinch the trip to the quarterfinals. William Blumberg and Rinky Hijikata also won their matches at No.
