CHAPEL HILL – University of North Carolina defensive end Jason Strowbridge has been selected in the fifth round with the 154th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. Strowbridge becomes the 240th Tar Heel chosen in the NFL Draft and the 15th defensive end. He is also the 19th Carolina football player selected in the fifth round. Strowbridge is the fifth Tar Heel chosen by the Miami Dolphins as well.
"Ever since I was a little boy, I dreamed of playing in the NFL," Strowbridge said. "I've gone through a lot of highs and lows on my journey, but it's all been worth it to get to this point.
