LOUIS --- Austin O'Connor (149) and Zach Sherman (141) won both of their matches on Thursday's first day of the 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, advancing to Friday morning's quarterfinals. Five other Tar Heels won matches on the back side and are still alive in the wrestlebacks. Wrestling will begin again at 11:00 a.m. EST on Friday.
