Seven members of the UNC field hockey squad that won national and conference titles in 2019 have been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team, announced Wednesday by the league. Tar Heels Marissa Creatore, Feline Guenther, Catherine Hayden, Yentl Leemans, Erin Matson, Madison Orobono and Courtnie Williamson were among 42 conference student-athletes selected for the honor.
All seven were starters on the 2019 team, which went undefeated at 23-0, winning NCAA and ACC Championships.
The award recognizes academic and athletic achievement for the past season.
