“They are all special, and I think the team is a reflection of their leadership,” Carolina head coach Karen Shelton said of her seniors after Sunday’s 5-1 victory over 19th-ranked ODU at Francis Henry Stadium. Four Tar Heels were honored before the game as a part of the Heels’ Senior Day festivities. Casey Di Nardo, Emily Wold, Nina Notman and Rachel Black played out their final regular season home game in front of their friends and family on the rainy afternoon day.
