One week into her college soccer career and Savy King has put the ACC on notice, as the UNC freshman was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week. The conference announced its weekly honorees Tuesday after the opening weekend of the 2023 season. King is UNC's first true freshman to earn an ACC weekly award since Maycee Bell in 2019.
