Roy Williams fielded questions on media day as UNC looks forward to a season of high expectations.
Williams says he believes his team can be one of the best in the country. In 2005, Williams said he thought the team was one or two of the best teams. In 2009 he felt UNC had the best team in the country. So this team is just below those two in terms of Williams' preseason view.
Over the summer Williams had surgeries on both knees which has impacted his golf game and his ability to get into a defensive stance.
