CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Jessica Riden will become Associate Director of Track & Field and Assistant to the Athletic Director at the University of North Carolina, Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Chris Miltenberg announced Thursday. Riden comes to Carolina after four seasons with Stanford track & field and cross country where she served as the director of operations during the 2016-18 seasons before being named Assistant Athletics Director in May of 2018.
"Jess is the engine that makes our entire program run," Miltenberg said. "Our entire operation at Stanford was built on Jess's professionalism, organization and commitment to details.
