GREENSBORO, N.C. – Tossing each of North Carolina's four wins, sophomore Brittany Pickett has been named the ACC's Pitcher of the Week, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the conference office. This is Pickett's fourth honor and third for the Tar Heels in 2018.
Pickett tossed each of Carolina's wins, limiting her opponents to a .196 clip with a 1.25 ERA. Giving up only two earned runs in the doubleheader, Pickett threw both games of the midweek twin bill at USC-Upstate, including a complete-game shutout in the nightcap.
