Ortega, Adave Lead WLAX Past Louisville, 21-8

CHAPEL HILL—Jamie Ortega had season highs with six goals, three assists and nine points and Andie Aldave scored a career-high six goals as the second-ranked University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team beat Louisville, 21-8, on Sunday afternoon at Dorrance Field.

The Tar Heels improved to 8-0 this season, including 2-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The win sets up UNC's highly-anticipated game next Sunday March 20 at No. 1-ranked and defending NCAA champion Boston College. Louisville fell to 5-4, 1-2.

Sam Geiersbach had another big game offensively off the bench for Carolina, chipping in four assists.
