We already knew that North Carolina and South Carolina would kickoff the 2015 college football season in September. On Monday, a kickoff time was announced for the game between the two teams.
The game will kickoff at 6 p.m. EST and televised nationally on ESPN Thursday, September 3. The game will be played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, marking the second time in three years the two teams have opened up the season against eachother. South Carolina won the matchup in 2013 27-10 with that game being played in Columbia, S.C. North Carolina leads the overall series 34-18-4.
