After a win at home against Miami on Saturday, the North Carolina Tar Heels have moved up to No. 17 in the College Football Playoff Rankings.
The rankings were announced Tuesday night on ESPN in-between games at Champions Classic in Chicago. The Tar Heels jump is six spots better than a week ago when they were ranked No. 23 in the rankings.

During the broadcast, Kirk Herbstreit said “look out for North Carolina” as he commented on how the Tar Heels ranked this week.
