Going into the offseason for college football, my biggest hope was that Bill Belichick would do enough to get me excited about the program. The lowest hanging fruit in all of this is creating a roster that could compete, which certainly doesn’t seem like a tall ask in the transfer portal era. You got an increased budget compared to what Mack Brown had, so you can spend for good players, and we can see what happens from there. Simple, right?
