CHAPEL HILL --- No. 9 North Carolina plays its first games of 2017 away from Chapel Hill when the Tar Heels visit Georgia Tech Friday for the first of three at Russ Chandler Stadium. Carolina is 13-4 on the year after a 9-2 win over Maryland on Tuesday and 2-1 in league play thanks to a series win over Virginia last weekend. Georgia Tech beat Oklahoma on Tuesday to improve to 11-4 overall. The Yellow Jackets dropped two of three games to Miami in their opening ACC series last weekend in Coral Gables.
