The Tar Heel men's golf team begins spring semester competition on Thursday as the No. 2-ranked team in the country (Golfstat) at the 30th annual Amer Ari Invitational on the Hapuna Golf Course in Kamuela, Hawai'i.
Carolina won three tournaments and had three different players win medalist honors in the fall, which culminated in a team title at The Williams Cup presented by STITCH Golf at Eagle Point in Wilmington the final week of October. UNC also won team and individual titles at Duke (Ryan Gerard) and Olympia Fields, Ill. (Austin Greaser).
