Both Brice Johnson and Marcus Paige were selected in the 2016 NBA Draft on Thursday night, becoming the 59th and 60th Tar Heels selected in the first two rounds of the draft.
Johnson went 25th overall to the Los Angeles Clippers, ready to take the next step and play with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
As for Paige, he was originally selected by the Brooklyn Nets 55th overall and then traded to the Utah Jazz. Paige joins a Jazz roster that is stocked with guards, so he will have to impress during the NBA’s Summer League.
