Young Tar Heel fans are invited to join the North Carolina women's sports teams for 2023 UNC National Girls & Women in Sports Day, an annual event to highlight women's athletics at Carolina, brought to you by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and Carolina Athletics. The NGWSD celebration is set for Jan. 22 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Bill Koman Practice Complex on the UNC campus.
The day's event is intended for girls and boys pre-K through eighth grade. There is no charge to participate and everyone (including parents/guardians) who registers in advance will receive a complimentary ticket to the UNC women's basketball game against Georgia Tech that day at 4:00 p.
