After an NFL Draft that saw six Tar Heels get selected and several others sign as undrafted free agents, another North Carolina player is getting a chance at the next level. Despite missing out on draft selection, Mikey Bart has signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
The senior amassed 83 tackles in his four seasons at North Carolina, including 34 in 2016. His big season came as a junior in 2015 when he recorded 6.5 sacks, leading the team. He played nearly every game across his junior and senior seasons, picking up four sacks last year.
