Men's Tennis Earns No. 15 Seed In NCAA Tournament

Atlantic Coast Conference runner-up North Carolina is the No. 15 overall seed in the 64-team field for the 2022 NCAA men's tennis tournament and will host first- and second-round action this weekend, the NCAA announced on Monday evening.

The Tar Heels have earned NCAA Tournament bids 26 times under the tutelage of 29th-year head coach Sam Paul. Carolina will be hosting NCAA Tournament matches for the eighth consecutive year and ninth in the last 10.

Carolina will meet Navy (31-10) in the first round on Friday May 6 at 5 p.m. at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.
