CHAPEL HILL – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has named University of North Carolina junior forward Luke Maye a second-team Academic All-America.
Maye, a business administration major and a student in the Kenan Flagler Business School, is the 15th Tar Heel to earn Academic All-America honors and the third in the last eight years along with Tyler Zeller and Marcus Paige.
The Huntersville, N.C., native has won first-team All-ACC and third-team All-America honors this year for his play on the court (leads UNC in scoring at 17.2 points per game and rebounds with 10.
