As surely as Tyler Hansbrough had Quentin Thomas, and as surely as Harrison Barnes had Leslie McDonald, history is bound to remember—while the rest of us forget—that Brice Johnson had Nate Britt.
In 2008, Hansbrough scored 39 points and had 13 rebounds in a home comeback win against Clemson. But it was senior point guard Thomas who made the game-tying bank shot in regulation, then sank a pair of game-tying free throws with 38 seconds left in overtime.
In 2011, Barnes hung 40 on the Tigers (perhaps this is a pattern) in the ACC Tournament.
