LOVE SAVES CAROLINA'S 5-4 WIN AND SERIES SWEEP
CHAPEL HILL – Preseason Closer of the Year candidate Austin Love struck out Greg Bennett and got Cole Escher to fly softly to center field to end the game with the tying run on second base to preserve the University of North Carolina's 5-4 win Sunday over Middle Tennessee in the final game of a three-game set at Boshamer Stadium.
Carolina won the three games by 15-3, 2-1 and 5-4 scores.
