University of North Carolina junior Crista Izuzquiza made two eagles five holes apart and shot a 6-under 66 in Friday's third round of the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro.
The Tar Heels shot 5-over 293 on Friday, the sixth-best round of the day, and finished the tournament tied with Notre Dame for ninth at 30 over.
Second-ranked and top-seed Wake Forest was first after 54 holes of stroke play at 19-under 845. Duke (-11), Clemson (-7) and Virginia (+1) also advanced to Saturday's match play semifinals. The Cavaliers qualified 13 shots ahead of Florida State for the fourth and final spot.
