The internship is one of the School of Media and Journalism’s Global Summer programs, in partnership with the UNC Study Abroad Office.
RIO de JANEIRO, BRAZIL -- Five months ago I received the call saying that I was one of 29 students selected to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to report on the 2016 Olympic Games. What I have experienced over the past 25 days is something that I will truly never forget, and I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity that has been provided.
