CHAPEL HILL - The No. 1 North Carolina women's tennis team secured two 4-0 victories over ECU and Charlotte on Saturday at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. In between the two matches, Carolina's seniors - Sara Daavettila, Alexa Graham and Makenna Jones - unveiled the 2020 ITA Indoor National Champions banner before a crowd of fans and program supporters.
In the first match of the day against ECU, the opening doubles point was decided on court three with freshman duo Kacie Harvey and Anika Yarlagadda defeating their opponents, 6-2.
