In a marathon matchup for the ages, the North Carolina Tar Heels begged the Virginia Tech Hokies to snatch a victory away from and, after over four hours of game play, the Hokies finally obliged.
For only the second time in his career, Mack Brown has lost a game coming out of a bye week. I don’t know what the first loss was, but I guarantee it wasn’t as exhausting or devastating as this one. A game that UNC had multiple opportunities to win ended with victorious Hokies streaming onto the field.
