GREENSBORO, N.C. – Leading the Tar Heels to their fourth straight ACC win, Lauren Harrison was named the ACC Player of the Week as announced Monday afternoon by the conference office. This is the Tar Heels' second weekly honor this season as well as it is the first player of the week honor since 2017.
Redshirt-freshman Harrison helped UNC to its first win over a ranked foe since 2016. The Stone Mountain, Georgia native totaled 37 kills to average 4.11 per set, attacking at a team-best .299 clip. The outside-hitter tallied six kills in two sets against both Miami and Florida State.
