DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former North Carolina women’s golfer Casey Grice finished ninth in the Symetra Tour earnings list on Sunday, earning an LPGA Tour card for the 2016 year. Grice is one of 10 Symetra Tour players to earn an LPGA Tour card this year, and is the first Tar Heel to ever earn one through the Symetra Tour’s earnings list.
Grice finished the season with a tie for 33rd at the Symetra Tour Championship on Saturday. Her earnings for the year were just over $55,000.
Grice was also awarded with the Heather Wilbur Spirit Award on the 18th green following the tournament’s conclusion.
