Florida State came to Chapel Hill on Jan. 27, 1993 at 13-4, ranked No. 19 in the AP poll, and riding a five-game winning streak. The Seminoles’ most recent win was an overtime win over two-time defending national champion Duke. However, they met a North Carolina team that clearly was in the midst of a special season.
