Senior Chris Gray has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year and leads six Tar Heels named to the All-ACC Academic Team, announced on Tuesday by the league.
Joining Gray on the team are Will Bowen, Collin Krieg, Connor Maher, Zac Tucci and Matt Wright.
Gray, an attackman from Wading River, N.Y., was the 2021 ACC Offensive Player of the Year and recipient of an ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship. He majored in management and society and will begin studies at Kenan-Flagler Business School in the coming year.
