Gray Named ACC Offensive Player Of The Week

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina's Chris Gray has earned his second ACC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference Tuesday. This is the third weekly accolade for the Tar Heels.

Gray, a junior attackman from Wading River, N.Y., totaled nine points with one assist and a career-high, eight goals in the seventh-ranked Tar Heels' 17-10 win over No. 15 Johns Hopkins. Gray's performance led the ACC in goals (8) and points (9) through the weekend and doubled his goal total for the 2020 season. During his scoring series at Hopkins, Gray also contributed to three of the Tar Heels' five extra-man opportunity points (2g, 1a).
